Where it all began
Lara Beauty Atelier started in 2024 with a simple passion — helping people care for their skin and feel confident in it. My journey began with facials, where I discovered how much I loved helping people understand and care for their skin.
The inspiration came from treating a friend who was struggling with a skin problem. That experience showed me how much proper skincare matters, and it pushed me to build something bigger — a brand that helps people care for their skin naturally and confidently.
The name comes from mine. It represents something personal: the passion, the care and the vision behind the brand. Today we make natural skincare designed to help you keep healthy, beautiful-looking skin while caring for your natural complexion.
Our dream is bigger than where we are today. We want Lara Beauty Atelier to become a global natural skincare brand — a name people around the world trust. From facials to natural skincare, this is our beginning, and the story is only getting started.
What we believe
Good skincare should be short, honest and affordable enough to use every day. We would rather make five things properly than fifty things adequately.
How we make it
Everything is produced in small batches at our Lagos studio. Shea comes from a women-led co-operative in Kwara, and our black soap is made to a traditional Ghanaian recipe using plantain ash and cocoa pod. Nothing is diluted with cheap filler oils, and we do not test on animals.
Two front doors
We hold stock in two places. Nigerian orders are packed and posted in Lagos. UK and European orders ship from our London store room, so nothing sits in customs and nobody pays an import surprise at the door. Prices are set for each market rather than converted, which is why you can shop in Naira or Euros and see a fair figure either way.
